With its location being right next to Albstadt town centre, this cross-country-only round of the World Cup is one of the best attended rounds on the calendar. The course has two major steep and long climbs, while the downhill descents are fast and technical, favouring riders willing to take risks to gain extra seconds.

Crankworx Les Gets Slopestyle 2016

The Les Gets alpine resort is the new home for the European leg of Crankworx's world tour of mountain bike festivals. The location, which straddles the French-Swiss border, Les Gets, is steeped in mountain bike folklore having held five World Cup races on its site.

With a new location comes an all-new course that will be sculpted from the dirt of the French resort.

UCI XCO/XCE MTB World Championships 2016

The 2016 UCI MTB World Championships see the annual event split between cross-country and downhill disciplines with two separate venues in two different countries hosting the racing.

The Cross-Country and Cross-Country eliminator riders are first up in late June with racing taking place in Nové MÄ›sto in the Czech Republic.

The 2016 UCI MTB World Championships sees the annual event split between cross-country and downhill disciplines with two separate venues in two different countries hosting the racing.

The downhill elite will be in Val di Sole in September for their Worlds. The Italian location has previously held the World Championships in 2008.
